Overhead line equipment

The Merlin Gerin range of overhead switchgear products comprises of the N & U series automatic circuit reclosers and the RL and PM6 load break switch. Switchgear and associated control electronics are constructed to the highest quality from carefully selected materials.

All products use stainless steel exteriors, which ensure long, low maintenance service lives in aggressive environments. The control cubicle is common to all designs of overhead switchgear and is configurable by software for a variety of protection and fault detection applications. The control cubicle contains the entire RTU and needs no extra wiring or batteries.
